I will overwhelm 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
